Tony Gagliardi, Colorado and Wyoming state director for the National Federation of Independent Business, joins Kim in the first segment to talk about SB19-188, the FAMLI Program. The bill seeks to supplant private policies on paid family leave time, which would remove current paid leave programs for small businesses. The bill would also require employers to fund the program and the Democratic sponsors of the bill are also seeking to bypass TABOR by calling the payments a premium instead of a tax.
