Representative Beckman, who represents District 38 (Bow Mar, Columbine, Littleton, and Centennial in Arapahoe County) squeezes some time to call in and give updates on with Public Welfare Oil & Gas Operations (SB19-181) and Voter Approval to Retain Revenue for Education and Transport (Hb19-1257). These bills are disingenuous in their informal titles, as the Oil & Gas bill has the potential to devastate Colorado's economy by forcing out one of Colorado's most important industries and 1257 designed to cripple TABOR and make it so politicians can take refunds without requesting taxpayer permission.
