McConnell forces Senate Democrats to pick a side

Today the Senate votes on Ocasio-Cortez's controversial New Green Deal. Mitch McConnel has backed six Democratic Senators with presidential ambitions into a corner by forcing a vote on the New Green Deal. Do the Senators and their colleagues appease the extreme left-wing elements that have taken over the Democrat party, or do they vote against a bill that most agree is not feasible, but at the risk of alienating a very vocal minority? Either way, McConnel has put the Democrats in an awkward position.
