The Red Flag Law and the threat it poses to women

State Representative Kim Ransom joins Kim to talk about the Red Flag law and the threat it could represent to legally armed women. Critics of the bill turned law have noted that the bar to bring a complaint is low and a major concern for due process protections. What happens if a woman is in a domestic violence or stalking situation and the aggressor succeeds in a complaint that results in the woman losing her gun?

The problem with plastic bag bans

Janice Onwuka, senior policy analyst for the Independent Women's Forum, takes Kim and listeners through the many issues surrounding New York's plastic bag ban. With the wave of blue state policies from New York and California washing over Colorado, this could be an issue that Coloradans will have to soon contend with. https://soundcloud.com/the-heart-of-the-matter/42319red-flag-laws-are-dangerous-for-women-plastic-bag-bans-net-neutrality
